About the therapist:
Hi! I am Myra Flor R. Arpin, but please call me Myra Flor [mai-ruh flohr]. Yes, I have two first names, honoring my nanay (mother) and late lola (grandmother), both of whom I draw strength from through their stories of resilience amidst trauma.
I am a cisgender, neurodivergent Filipinx-American and Ilocano. I am a proud daughter of immigrants and attribute who I am from growing up in a bicultural household. I'm into minimalism, reading, trying new restaurants, playing ACNH and Stardew Valley, baking, learning languages and traveling (when not in a pandemic). I'm currently studying ASL.
I am a licensed mental health counselor associate. I graduated from Seattle University with a M.Ed in Counseling in 2016. I work full-time as a school counselor and part-time in private practice.
